If required, couples can have exclusive use of the house and gardens to entertain guests as if it was their own.
In fact, we encourage wedding guests to think of Shottle Hall as their home for the day.
Our civil ceremony license means you can choose to host your whole day at Shottle Hall or we offer the flexibility for you to join us for your wedding breakfast and celebrations after your ceremony.
The Orangery restaurant can accommodate 80 guests for the wedding breakfast and 150 for an evening celebration in the restaurant.
With its starlit ceiling, full length windows and baby Grand Piano (that can even play itself), the restaurant offers a modern extension of the traditional house.
The Stunning Coach House Marquee
When the sun goes down the enchanting starlit ceiling in the marquee sets the scene for your evening entertainment.
Or why not get married in the romantic Garden Pavilion, so you can enjoy the magic of being married outside with a backdrop of the glorious English countryside.

The Coach House Marquee package
A red carpet entrance welcomes you to the state-of-the-art Coach House marquee. The luxurious marquee has a fully-draped starlit ceiling and a colour-wash lighting system that can compliment your chosen theme.
A decked patio and separate bar and lounge area are available for drinks and canapés, where your guests can enjoy the simply stunning views over the open countryside and romantic garden pavilion.
The Estate Package
This package offers you exclusive use of the whole estate to create extra flexibility for your special day. It really is the best of both worlds with all the fantastic features of both venues rolled into one. You can chose from the range of ceremony options, dinning and evening reception areas and tailor-make your perfect wedding.

Winter Weddings
We take a special pride in the Winter Weddings which are held at Shottle Hall. In the dark months of winter, what could be lovelier than arriving to a blaze of light and the glow of old-fashioned log fires crackling in the grates?
During December, the house is swathed in festive decorations and a 20ft Christmas tree lights up the elegant lounge.
Imagine cosy open log-fires, candlelight and our large picture windows overlooking snowy grounds or wild skies. No wonder that the winter months are among our most popular events.
